Subplanta Veterinary Clinic reopens in Santa Clara
The highest authorities of the Party and the Government in the province, as well as the Delegation of Agriculture reopened this Sunday the Subplanta Veterinary Clinic in Santa Clara after a capital remodeling.
Likewise, they gave a recognition to the Union of Agricultural, Forestry and Tobacco Workers (SNTAFT) in its day. The ribbon cutting and the opening were in charge of Yudí Rodríguez Hernández and Alberto López Díaz, first Secretary of the Party in Villa Clara and Alberto López Díaz, Provincial Governor, respectively. Germán Hernández Carmona, director of the Clinic that he has directed for four years, told Vanguardia that the improvements to the extremely deteriorated building included the repair of roofs, walls and floors; as well as the surgery room and other premises, hydraulic networks and electrical installations. He stressed that what happened here is a dream come true, not only for his workers, but also for veterinary doctors and pet lovers, as part of the work strategy associated with the implementation of the Animal Welfare Decree Law that entered into in force last July, and regulates the principles, duties, rules and purposes in relation to the care, health and use of animals. Hernández Carmona pointed out that the facility will serve the population from Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. at 4:30 p.m., with a permanent guard on Saturdays and Sundays until 12:00 m, and offers services of clinical diagnosis, immunization, antiparasitic treatment, surgery, taking laboratory samples, among other treatments. During the Sunday session, Yudí Rodríguez Hernández and Alberto López Díaz also toured the recently renovated El Níspero agricultural point of sale, located on Calle Rodrigo, Consejo Popular Condado, in Santa Clara.
