In the event, coordinated by the Municipal University Center, the Government and the Directorate of Culture, topics of relevance to the advancement of the territory were discussed, where researchers from various sectors gave their contributions to the work in different spheres. "The improvement of the costs of exportable marine products" was the project presented by Atamara Ábalos Torres, which is of great importance because these are the main rubles of the territory for foreign countries, in addition to honey and charcoal. In this work, with background in undergraduate and postgraduate theses from entities such as the Artificial Shrimp Farming Company (CULTISUR) and the Fishing and Industrial Company (EPISUR), the updating and registration of the cost sheets is taken into account. , as well as its analysis and evaluation for decision making, in order to achieve efficiency and contribute to the increase in exports and import substitution. On the other hand, the pedagogue Laritza Olivera Tiá presented the sociocultural project La Nueva Semilla, which will be based in the Jacinto González community in the main city of the municipality, where it is intended to achieve a harmonious development based on the interaction of the various artistic manifestations and the new generations. The young Raudel Quintero Rodríguez, a specialist in the local government, designed a water supply system for typical dairy farms in the municipality, which is expected to improve the quality of this input, the living conditions of the animals and therefore increase production. of meat and milk. “For this, the use of mobile drinking fountains is planned, with materials that can be purchased in different stores and will be distributed throughout the areas of the units where they are located, and here the design of the hydraulic network and the economic solvency of the peasants are also reflected. ”, he stressed. Second-year Accounting Technician students, Kevin Ricardo Lahera Mila, Yeisy González Jerez and Daidiana Amaya Castillo, also participated in the event. They received a Mention for a work related to the evaluation of the cost system of the Business Unit. of Base Jesús Suárez Gayol. After two years without holding the Santacruceña Culture Day due to the pandemic, the celebration is held until March 22 and within it the scientific event El Futuro de mi Ciudad was held, which became a propitious setting to focus on the potentialities of the municipality and the actions to be carried out in the coming stage.
