Process of characterization and categorization of coffee producers begins
The Agroforestry Business Group together with the National Association of Small Farmers and the National Union of Agricultural, Forestry and Tobacco Workers, have prepared a document for the recovery of coffee areas, in mountainous areas, to increase the productive results and medium-term performance
It is a comprehensive strategy that covers the entire productive pyramid, from national organizations and entities to the productive base that seeks to guarantee the Categorization and characterization of coffee producers on agricultural yields and the sealing of their plantations, title of the aforementioned document. This would guarantee a necessary articulation in the coffee municipalities to conclude in 2023 the sealing of all the coffee plants in the country, translating into higher agricultural yields and an increase in coffee production.
