Cienfuegos increases productions for export
The province has agricultural and industrial potential to become an export pole
As part of the strategy drawn up in the country to increase exports, 13 new items located mainly in the areas of recovery of raw materials, agriculture and the production of medicines, register on its foreign trade map the province of Hundred fires. In accordance with its potentialities, "Cítricos Arimao" currently has nine consolidated items, and promotes another six, among which are dehydrated products, the soursop leaf, and the pink sweet potato, which generally go to European nations such as England, France, Spain, Portugal and Holland. Roque Cruz reiterated his interest in establishing the Cienfuegos Export Pole as an initiative to stimulate this prioritized economic activity, a project within which there is also the preparation of the file of the Provincial Storage Company, to begin its insertion in the activity of Foreign Trade.
