With the purpose of contributing to the socioeconomic development of the country, the people of Matanzas dedicate this Sunday a day of voluntary work to promote agriculture. The highest authorities of the province lead the mobilization for the planting of cassava in areas of the Vladimir Ilich Lenin Agricultural Company, of Jovellanos and the Basic Unit of Cooperative Production October 10, in Jagüey Grande. Workers, cadres and young people from different organizations of the Matanzas territory dedicate the volunteer work day to the development of 140 hectares of yucca. Liván Izquierdo Alonso, first secretary of the Party in the territory, participates in the Lenin Company in the mobilization that seeks to turn the province into the most productive in the country and in greeting to the Balance Assembly of that organization.
