With this effort, the municipality of Amancio identifies those products that can be extended to the national and international market, benefiting local development and the country. Suleiny Iznaga García, director of Planning and Economy in the town explained that at the end of 2020 this indicator reached 168.2 percent of compliance, favored by the high production of alcohol during the second half of the year, which represented more than 64 thousand hectoliters.

Likewise, the volumes of charcoal are increased, from the inclusion of charcoal and briquette.

At the moment exports in this town in the south of Las Tunas are going through a complex situation, since the alcohol plant is stopped by decision of the country and there is a lack of inputs for the production of charcoal.

Regarding the stoppage of the Seville distillery, where alcohol is manufactured for the international market, mainly European, the directive said that steps are being taken by the business group to minimize downtime and affect workers to a minimum.

For the current calendar in "Amancio" alternatives are being sought as part of the new strategies, to bring quality products to internal and external markets. This in order to generate income and strengthen the economy.
