Guantanamo Coffee Processing Company Bets on Raising Revenue to the Country
The Asdrúbal López Coffee Processing Company, from Guantánamo, belonging to the Agroforestry Group of the Ministry of Agriculture, has the mission of collecting and benefiting the coffee that is harvested in all the municipalities that produce this exportable item in the provinces of Guantánamo and Holguín.
One of the successes of this group is the certification of its quality management system in 2006 and after the integrated management system that covers safety, occupational health, and environmental protection standards, which ensures the correspondence of the processes with international standards.
This certification endorses that entity commercially known by its Altoserra brand to export to some 10 nations in Europe, Asia, and Canada.
